Tibouchina

Knew when I was out walking, that this suburban front garden beauty would make for my Friday contribution in the floral department.  More often seen though is the purple variety, of this tibouchina.

As you can see, it made for a wonderful eye-catching tall flowering shrub in someone's front garden.

Yes amazingly beautiful Tibouchinas and beautiful pics.

Does anyone else remember when they were named Lasiandra?

I've got my hand up Jan; yes I remember the old varieties 'lasiandras'.
