A little art-deco, with a twist

Where am I? At the historic Queen Victoria Building , originally built in 1898, Sydney.

Using Bonnie's (Pixel Dust Photo Art), latest giveaway texture "Wicked".  Loving what it did for this photograph.

What did I do?  Merge HUE only, with 15% transparency.

Here's the original; it's lovely too in all its glory, but it sure was fun getting such a striking changeover with just a couple of steps.

It is a very fine staircase and proably not easy to get into a photograph. Three storeys no less/
And the fantasy version is charming. Rose-coloured glasses :-)

Carole - you've made a beautifully composed photograph look like a Broadway stage production - lit up to look surreal. Great processing. Thank you for sharing your artwork with Photo Art Friday!

I love the art-deco colors resulting from the addition of the texture.

Textures are so much fun, you never really know what sort of results you are going to get.

Carole, Wow this is wonderful. I love how grand elegance of the original photo but like you I think the edit adds something unique and special as well.

Carola, how great that you already played around with "wicked" - I still have to do that, but your photo editing is a wonderful inspiration.
